Rain is pouring down in Yelle. Bucketing men. Cats. Dogs. And frogs. People don’t know what to do. Brutal weather. As in bruuutal! As in just like most days in Ireland. People are on the verge of going into meltdown if it continues. Running off to buy candles and tinned food. Just in case. Thankfully, it makes bob all difference when you live in a cave. Finishing the book is the goal at the momento. The only goal. Revising, chopping, writing, editing, cluelessness… a mighty hoot! Although, I’ve realised I’m not really a fan of reading back over all my mistakes to be true, ha. Onwards and upwards. And at various points I’ve at least recognised a need to focus. Recognition. Now would be as good as any time to recognise that once more! However, New Year’s resolutions, not really a fan. Lucky if they make it out of January alive. Quickly dismissed. Fully disappear as the year goes on. Should’ve done that. Next year. Continued on for years and years. Learn Spanish? Learn a few songs on the old gee-tar? Still going strong since 1999! Wuu. Another way to fool myself. Perhaps it’s because I keep them to myself. And, as a result, less accountable for them. However, this time last year I had no blogaruu. I get the feeling that Christmas in L.A shall be a tad weird. Listening to Wham and the Pogues, when it’s roasting outside, is throwing me off sync. Just like Last Christmas coming on the radio in the middle of summer. My body and brain are struggling to compute the changes. Another change I am struggling to get to grips with is doubling the amount of songs in this segment. Demand is there. Time is not at the moment though. I believe I need to get back on the boozing horse more often. I’ve forgotten how to cope properly with even an average hangover. Unable to write an address on an envelope in the post office yesterday. Telling the woman helping me that the reason I couldn’t write properly was due to me being as hungover as a horse.
