Reviews!

Self Praise. No Praise. All That.

No real use me piping on about how mighty I think Randumb is and why you should buy it! Instead, here are a few reader reviews which have appeared on Amazon and the likes. Didn’t even have to pay people to do it. Wuu. Review on!

Five Stars! “He has the ability to take the reader places one could only dream… Every page is dripping in humor with secretly woven messages… This book, much like the bible, has the ability to keep you engaged as it teaches you how to live more fruitfully despite struggles and defeats… “

Five Stars! “All in all: a very funny and, if you read behind the lines, also very intelligent book about the search for one’s dream and the attempts to live it.”

Five Stars! “An excellent read, so funny! Really enjoyed it from start to finish, plenty of laugh out loud moments! Very well written and entertaining, was so disappointed when I finished it. Would highly recommend it!”

Five Stars! “Very inspiring! Couldn’t put it away once I started reading! Definitely one of the best books I have read… Well deserved 5 stars!!”

Five Stars! “This laugh out loud account of a Cork guy in LA shows the contrasting affect of two towns where one doesn’t suffer many fools (Cork) and of another that seems to be the capital city for them (LA). Its a refreshing and original account of American culture.”

Five Stars! “Mark Hayes is a gifted story teller that has captured the true essence of acclimatising to life in West Hollywood. His adventures are written in a very witty, fun and fast paced manner with a lot of double meanings that can be easily missed if read too fast… He’s left me wanting more. Prepare to be thoroughly entertained!”

Five Stars! “Hysterical, witty, GENIUS!”

Five Stars! “Randumb is laugh out loud funny! Genuinely fantastic read! Always wanting to read “just one more chapter” to see what else he could possibly get up to! Reminds us not to begrudge-be happy! I’ve literally ended up thinking in his unusual, unique writing style! Highly recommend.”

Seriously. Did not have to pay one single penny for any of those reviews. Shocking. Must’ve all been drunk reading it. Which is how it is intended to be read! And in the interests of giving a balanced view, it would appear that the book also really offended at least one person…

Zero Stars! “It is surely some sort of crime against humanity that I had to read this. The fact that a tree was felled so paper could be made to print this is also shocking.”

I feel bad. Perhaps I should thank that reviewer. Not only did he have to take the time to read my book. He then had to take the time to write a review for an Irish newspaper. Terrible time crime committed by me. So… Apologies. And thanks. For your time. Now mine. Perhaps I can keep time after all! (Book reference.)
